Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of this AA, students will be able to: - define paradigm shifts related to inclusion - to present the situation of inclusion in Belgium by figures and findings - define the concept of reasonable accommodation and propose it according to the situations encountered in society - to create conditions conducive to inclusive education

Content of UE

In this AA, we will address the following themes: - the concept of inclusion and inclusive society, its evolution and the paradigm shift - the situation in Belgium: figures and findings, reports of discriminatory situations - the legal instruments for inclusive education: in the Walloon and Brusels federation , in the Flemish and German-speaking communities, the concept of reasonable accommodation, the UN Convention and Article 24 - education systems for the schooling of pupils with disabilities - favorable conditions for inclusive education
