Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the term of this course, students will be capable to
- use in context basic English grammar notions; 
- extract information from science-oriented English texts;
- to communicate in English, in writing and orally, on science-related topics;
- work autonomously on audio documents (B2 level);
- build vocabulary linked to science and medecine;
- put into practice the basic rules of English pronunciation;
- create science-oriented works linked to their field of study.

Content of UE

- Revision and practice of English grammar,
- Individual work (computer lab sessions), 
- Analysis of authentic documents (popularized articles , videos, audios)
- Introduction to pronunciation and to written and oral communication, 
- Science-oriented assignments

Not submitting the portfolio in May will automatically lead to a fail mark for the whole exam session in June.
