Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

Learning Outcomes of UE

To sensibilize the students to the patient-doctor relationship's difficulties. From an usual encounter, the course shows that medicine is not only an operation on a body, but has other meanings for the patient. 
The mechanisms of human error in the practice of medicine will be shown. Religious and philosophical tradition will be briefly explained, especially about suffering, life, death and the hereafter, in order to help the students to understand the diversity of the men and women they will help.

Content of UE

The course will adopt various lights upon the socal fact of medicine: sociology, anthropology, history, philosophy, ethics and the history of religions.
