Learning Outcomes of UE
Understand and explain the main concepts and methods of decision
Develop and express an ethical reflection on a contemporary problem
Content of UE
- multiple criteria decision aid (multi-criteria problems, discussion of the weighted sum, additive value functions, outranking methods, decision under uncertainty and risk); introduction to deliberative process; introduction to game theory, treatment of uncertainty (introduction to fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic).
- Concepts of ethics and deontology. Values and norms. NICT and AI. Major and contemporary dilemnas.

For Decision Aid:
Written exam and presentation of an application work to a given problem
For Ethics:
A project (in team) about an ethical question, 60% of the mark
An oral exam, 40% of the mark
Given the mode of teaching in Ethics, the presence in the activities is compulsory. A participation rate smaller than 80% may lead to prohibit the taking of the evaluations of 1st session.
