Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Put English language skills and skills of at least one other language other than French into practice.
    • Read and understand the overall meaning of non-specialised texts, listen and understand the overall meaning of audio documents.
    • Write an information request, a summary and analysis of texts and videos, and an exchange in dialogue form.
    • Express an opinion on a subject, orally and in writing, as well as on topical issues within ideological debates, carry out an oral presentation on a topic related to the specialised field.
  • Apply transferable skills, such as analysis and critical thinking, thoroughness, independence, and teamwork
    • Demonstrate a critical mind, ethical values and independent judgment issues of human and social sciences.

Type of Assessment for UE in Q1

  • Written examination
  • Practical test

Q1 UE Assessment Comments

Students will be mainly tested on vocabulary, grammar, reading and writing in Spanish.   Practical Test : During the academic year, students may be tested on vocabulary or grammar, in agreement with their teacher. If tested, the results would account for 10% of the final marks for Term 1.   The exam accounts for 35%.

Q2 UE Assessment Comments

Students need to take a listening comprehension test + see Q1 The quoted exercice consists in a compulsory oral test (Presentation) to be determined during the academic year. Practical Test: During the academic year, students may be tested on vocabulary or grammar, in agreement with their teacher. If tested, the results would account for 10% of the final marks for Term 2. The exam accounts for 65%
