Content of Learning Activity
The growing role of financial institutions in the global economy has modified previous regulations, but often approaches used in previous regulations have been preserved. In order to understand the current regulatory environment of financial institutions, it is necessary to understand historical developments. This course will therefore adopt an historical perspective to explain the evolution of regulatory institutions and standards in the financial sector.
