| - For the written part of this exam, a non-specialized written text (about 600 words) will be proposed to the students. They will have to translate this text fully respecting its meaning and in correct French. - For the oral part of this examen, a non-specialized written text will be given to the students. They will have to read it in a defined period of time and then to translate the text orally, fully respecting its meaning and in correct French. |
Content of Learning Activity
Written translation of non-specialized texts of variable length, with highlighting of the common translation pitfalls and of the intertextual conventions in the source and target language. Improvement of wording ability. Oral translation of shorter general texts.
