      Organisational online arrangements for the end of Q3 2019-2020 assessments (Covid-19)

      Description of the modifications to the Q3 2019-2020 online assessment procedures (Covid-19)
      The test is held via Moodle/FTI/CU / Organisation and Timetable of the CU - Translation and Interpretation in a Legal Context / section "E-written tests - First session part A - 2020" (first tab).
      Download of the examination paper and submission of it via "Submission of an assignment" after 45 minutes. To answer the questions, the student can use the reference material of his or her choice (course notes, dictionaries, online resources, etc.). If the student has a question during the exam, he/she can ask it via the "Question/Answer Forum about the organization of online courses and exams".
      A test of the exam modalities will be carried out on Moodle by May 25th.
       

      Content of Learning Activity

      The main objective is for the learner to identify the speakers' communicative, discursive and interactional strategies so as to be true to them when interpreting. In this aim, the learner will be able to $ define the concept of interaction, understand the co-building of a conversation and identify the referential contents and the relational elements of an interaction $ identify conversation structures (turns, sequences, utterances) $ establish a link between language and communication situation $ identify speech acts $ make a difference between what is said and what is communicated and be aware of the inferential mechanisms at play in the course of the interpretation of an utterance $ identify the strategies inherent to linguistic politeness $ identify the interpersonal value of discourse markers $ be able to grasp the dialogical dimension of an intercation $ identify the dialectic and rhetorical  argumentative strategies.
