Content of Learning Activity
Consecutive interpretation of speeches of various length and complexity. Topics deriving from major international meetings. Consecutive interpretation, into French, of speeches in Arabic of varying lengths and of a fairly low degree of specialisation. Exercises based on non-prepared speeches, freely-rendered written texts or recordings of original speeches. Memorization, note-taking and rendering in French. Theoretical and practical work experience (visits, "dummy booths") within Parliamentary institutions and international organizations. Consecutive interpretation of short and relatively non-specialized speeches.
