Content of Learning Activity
Presentation of some essential tools for the methods of numerical simulations.
The pseudo-random numbers. Statistical mecanics and Monte-Carlo; The 1- and 2-dimensional Ising model (Monte-Carlo Metropolis). Hard spheres and Lennard Jones models; the problem of the travelling salesman; introduction to the techniques of molecular dynamics; introduction to celullar automata and to Boltzmann signals.
