Description of the modifications to the Q3 2019-2020 online assessment procedures (Covid-19) |
The evaluation consists of individual work on the application of the concepts presented during the course. From these concepts, the student will have to synthetically identify the relevant elements and apply them to a given concrete example. |
Content of Learning Activity
After defining the main deficiencies and mental illness, we will trace the history of the care of persons with disabilities in Belgium. We then describe the current philosophy of supporting these people and define the key concepts of autonomy, self-determination and social role valorization. We will also introduce assessment tools and educational interventions.
