      Organisational online arrangements for the end of Q3 2019-2020 assessments (Covid-19)
      • Written exam (multiple choice, open questions)
      Description of the modifications to the Q3 2019-2020 online assessment procedures (Covid-19)
      The final score of the exam will be a written distancing test. Terms of the written test Students will be required to log in to Moodle at a specific time (date and time will be specified by the secretariat) on the exam schedule. The handing over of the test will take place in a synchronized manner for all students. A specific time for the exam will be allocated. The review will include MCQ, True/False as well as opened questions (short answer). The exam is individual and closed book. Students has received a summary note on Moodle detailing the specific terms of the exam as well as a document outlining the objectives for each chapter.

       

      Content of Learning Activity

      The lecture will be st up in three main parts: I. Reminder of the 4 main classes of small organic molecules of the cells, the water structure, pH and the acid-base chemistry II. Structures and functions of the proteins and enzymes III. The energetics of life, and carbohydrate metabolism and regulation ==> The lecture (face-to-face) will be associated with practical works (supervised work, exercices and e-learning)

      Required Learning Resources/Tools

      The reference book is'Biochimie de Harper Murray et al, éditions de Boeck ISBN 978-2-8041-7561-0 . The lecture will be illustrated by a slide show and Power Point animations. The slide of each course will be available to students via the Moodle platform .
