The examination is oral, includes both theory and exercises, and covers all subjects seen during the teaching of this AA in Q1, including chapters 1 to 5 of the syllabus, exercises relative to Chapter 4, exercise sessions 1 to 3 and what was taught during lessons. |

Atomic and molecular chemistry, including quantum aspects:
- structure of the atom and notions of spectroscopy;
- interactions and chemical bonds.
Organic chemistry:
- structure of organic molecules, including resonance structures;
- functional groups;
- nomenclature.
Chemical kinetics:
- chemical reactors and balance concepts;
- rate laws.
Chemical reactions:
- acid-base reactions;
- precipitation and dissolution reactions;
- oxidation-reduction reactions;
- complexation reactions.
Thermodynamics:
- thermodynamic quantities
- energy transfer and first principle
States of matter:
- properties of different states;
- phase transition and introduction to phase diagrams.
Chemistry of solutions:
- elementary notions.
