Content of Learning Activity
Modelling and optimisation of energy systems: process scheme of the system, identification and characterization of its elements (variables, characteristic equations, parameters), solution of the equations, introduction to optimisation methods. Introduction to commercial simulation tools (TRNSYS, ASPEN, ...). Application: case study performed by groups of 2 to 3 students.
