      Content of Learning Activity

      Special topics in heat transfer : gas radiation, condensation, boiling. General theory of heat exchangers ; description, selection and thermal design of different types of heat exchangers (shell and tubes heat exchangers, plate heat exchangers, gas-gas and gas-liquid heat exchangers, condensers, boilers) ; heat exchangers involving simultaneous heat and mass transfer (general theory, application to cooling towers, condensers and heat recovery systems).
