      Organisational online arrangements for the end of Q3 2019-2020 assessments (Covid-19)

      Description of the modifications to the Q3 2019-2020 online assessment procedures (Covid-19)
      -Written examination. Open books.
      -Unified online examination (theory and exercises) : Two exercises to solve plus one theoretical question.
      -Students will have 3 hours to solve exercises and answer the theoretical question
      -At the end of the exam, students will additionally have 30 minutes to upload an scanned copy of their exams.


       Weighting reminder :
      -Exercises : 42.5%
      -Theory : 42.5% (12.5% for the theoretical question + 30% for the team project)
      -Online practical demonstrations reports : 15% (note transfer)
       

      Content of Learning Activity

      Theory-exercices mode course. Students must be present during the first course lecture. Contents: energy bands, the Fermi level, electrical conductivity, transport equations, carriers generation and recombination, the PN junction at equilibrium, reverse and fordward biased, diode model, MOS transistor, MOS capacitor, short channel effects, MOS models, Jsspers's diagram, Bipolar transistors fundamentals, Ebers and Moll models, transport model, current equations, small and large signal devices models; transistors fundamental stages, two transistors stages, current mirrors. Advances electronics devices. Introduction to microelectronics, Microelectronics technologies, integrated circuits design flow on Cadence CAD tools.
