Organisational online arrangements for the end of Q3 2019-2020 assessments (Covid-19)
      • Written exam (multiple choice, open questions)
Description of the modifications to the Q3 2019-2020 online assessment procedures (Covid-19)
The exam will consist of a Moodle online test, open during 4 hours. The exam is organized for both teaching activities I-MRDV-120 (Q1) and I-MRDV-121 (Q2) with a weight of 100% of the final mark.
The parts related to each teaching activity are clearly identified and have a weight corresponding to the number of credits. The student takes only the teaching activity that he/she failed.
The part related to the teaching activity I-MRDV-120 (Q1) consists only of exercises.
The part related to the teaching activity I-MRDV-121 (Q2) consists of theory (30% of the mark) and exercises (70% of the mark).

      Content of Learning Activity

Point kinematics: position, velocity, acceleration, motion reference
Kinematics of the rigid body: velocity and acceleration fields, theorem of derivatives composition, planar case (Kennedy's theorem, graphical kinematics).
Kinematics of mechanical systems: joints, composition of movements.
Energetic methods of Statics: principle of virtual work/power, conservative systems and minimum of potential energy.
Twist (momentum), kinetic energy, inertia tensor, second order tensors.
