| Assessment will cover a written task to be put on Moodle and based to the solving of a problem related to the safety of mechanotric systems. The problem statement as well as the practical information (expected content, deadline, ...) will be available on Moodle in due time. |
Content of Learning Activity
Various parts will be studied: Regulations (EU Directives and Legislation, The Machinery Directive, The Use of Work Equipment Directive); Standards (ISO, IEC, EN Harmonised European Standards); Safety Strategy (Risk Assessment, Machine Limit Determination, Task and Hazard Identification, Risk Estimation and Risk Reduction, Inherently safe design, Protective systems and measures, Evaluation, Training, personal protective equipment, Standards); Protective Measures & Complimentary Equipment; Safety Distance Calculation; Prevention of Unexpected Power-up; Safety Related Control Systems & Functional Safety
