      Organisational online arrangements for the end of Q3 2019-2020 assessments (Covid-19)

      Description of the modifications to the Q3 2019-2020 online assessment procedures (Covid-19)
      Assessment will cover a written task to be put on Moodle and based to the solving of a problem related to the safety of mechanotric systems. The problem statement as well as the practical information (expected content, deadline, ...) will be available on Moodle in due time.

      Content of Learning Activity

      Various parts will be studied: Regulations (EU Directives and Legislation, The Machinery Directive, The Use of Work Equipment Directive); Standards (ISO, IEC, EN Harmonised European Standards); Safety Strategy (Risk Assessment, Machine Limit Determination, Task and Hazard Identification, Risk Estimation and Risk Reduction, Inherently safe design, Protective systems and measures, Evaluation, Training, personal protective equipment, Standards); Protective Measures & Complimentary Equipment; Safety Distance Calculation; Prevention of Unexpected Power-up; Safety Related Control Systems & Functional Safety
