      Content of Learning Activity

      minerals and metals; ores; purposes of the mineral processing; presentation of samples of ores; comminution; liberation; reduction ratio; crushers and grinding mills; practical aspects of crushing and grinding; sizing; particle-size analysis; screening; classification; concentration; gravity concentration; magnetic separation; high-tension separation; additional operations (settling, filtration, drying, pelletisation and sintering); flow-sheets; exercises (mass balance, washability curves, sizing and classification, partition curves)
