The oral part consists in customised questions that deal with all the content of the course.

      Content of Learning Activity

describing the rock as a porous medium composed of a solid skeleton and fluids; defining stress and strain concepts; building constitutive laws; presentation of different constitutive laws for rocks: linear elasticity, visco-elasticity, poro-elasticity, failure and plasticity; laboratory tests principles; extension of lab measured characteristics to rock masses by their description, in situ tests and determination of quality indexes of rock masses.
