Organisational online arrangements for the end of Q3 2019-2020 assessments (Covid-19)
    • Written exam (multiple choice, open questions)
Description of the modifications to the Q3 2019-2020 online assessment procedures (Covid-19)
The exam is organised using the moodle platform. It consist in a set of questions dealing with applications, some may need graphical design. for all those questions, il will be possible, in addition to open comments, to upload a copy (scanned, picture taken by a camera or a smartphone) of the development that has been made on paper. The practical details (file naming, weighing,...) will be precised prior to the beginning of the exam.
    maximum length: 4 hours

    Content of Learning Activity

Technical drawing: general principles of presentation, views, sections, threaded elements, dimensioning, tolerancing, functional dimensioning, bill of materials.
Additional basics of Computer Aided Design.
Dimensional metrology: language of dimensional measurement, principle for geometrical tolerancing, envelope requirement, maximum material requirement, dimensional metrology instruments, inspection of geometrical deviations, measurement uncertainty.
