    Description of the modifications to the Q3 2019-2020 online assessment procedures (Covid-19)
    The assessment is organized in the form of a remote written exam requiring the deposit of your digital productions on Moodle. The test will include a theoretical part (comprising questions intended to assess your understanding of the principles of dimensioning, selection of machine components and mechanical design (requiring diagrams and drawings)) which can be conducted with an open book in a limited time and an applied part (including justification of choice of design, numerical calculations, diagrams and drawings) which is none other than the partial resolution of the integrated exercise proposed in the AA, not surprising therefore since the titles were communicated on Moodle .
    Students who have successfully completed the applied part in the first session can benefit from a rating transfer for this, on the condition of expressing this wish for the exam day at the latest, by submitting a written document in the Corresponding Moodle homework.

    Content of Learning Activity

    strength of materials applied to machine elements; contact between solids: tribology, surface failure; fits, screws and fasteners; bearings, hydrodynamic bearings, roller bearings, sliding pairs; screw pair; sealing; fatigue failure theories; stress-life approach; Wöhler law; influence of mean stress; Miner's law; springs.
