Description of the modifications to the Q3 2019-2020 online assessment procedures (Covid-19)
Oral examination, 100% of the mark, in the questions - answers format.
The examination concerns the matters that were taught during the courses.
The examination is an on-line examination that is organised in a synchronous way, individually (one student at a time), via TEAMS (provided to the students by UMONS).
The success of the UE is determined by a minimum score of 8/20 for each AA that constitutes it.

    Content of Learning Activity

Manufacturing properties of metals (castability, formability, machinability, weldability).
Metal casting processes and equipment (expandable mold and permanent mold).
Forming processes and equipment (rolling, extrusion, drawing, hot and cold forging.
Sheet metal forming - shearing, sawing, cutting, bending, deep drawing).
Material removal processes and machines (fundamentals of cutting, cutting tools, turning, boring, drilling, milling, grinding).
