      Content of Learning Activity

To apply the (Park) theory in order to put into equations, without time dependance in the inductive coefficients, the transient behaviour of an electrical machine ; To deduce equivalent schemes in order to simulate the transient operation in the case of a synchronous machine ; To identify the internal parameters used in those equivalent schemes and understand the necessity of defining measurable intermediates (external parameters) in order to access the values of the internal parameters ; To apply a particular test in order to calculate a great number of external parameters : sudden 3-phase short-circuit at the terminal of a synchronous generator initially unloaded (theoretical study of the evolution of stator and rotor currents under several hypotheses + practical development of external parameters' identification method based on experimentally measured currents).
