Description of the modifications to the Q3 2019-2020 online assessment procedures (Covid-19) |
---|
The exam consists in a written exam using an online evaluation platform. The exam will be scheduled by the faculty. The exam duration is 3 hours. It is an open book examination (course notes, slides, course book). The grading will mainly assess the comprehension of the topics coverd during the lectures. The topics covered are those seen during both class lectures and remote teams lectures as well as all the exercises and labs sessions. A careful preparation is required, course notes will just help in case of a slight memory lapse or guide a reflexion from a graph or a mathematical development. These notes cannot be used to simply re-tell what is written in the notes. The exam will cover both exercise and theory. Most of the questions will be multiple choice questions. Open question requiring text, equations or drawing can also be asked. It may require to upload a scan or a photo. The theory counts for 60%, the exercises for 30%, the lab for 10%. |
