Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Master specialist knowledge in the field of economic, political and social sciences in order to mobilise it on issues related to political, economic and social environments.
    • Assimilate political, economic and social environments.
  • Develop innovative solutions/actions/policies/methodologies adapted to an institutional and social context of actors concerned in a process of change.
    • Monitor knowledge and methodological approaches in order to evolve their thinking and practice.
  • Independently or collectively mobilise the skills acquired through training, in social and political fields.
    • Demonstrate independence and persevere, despite the difficulties or initial errors, to find an optimal solution.
  • Be critical and have a general overview of the analysis of problems and implementation of actions in the economic, social and political fields.
    • Assess their practices and be able to question it.

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of this teaching, the student will be able to :
- define  the great lines of social,  économic and political history
- locate the great political and philosophical ideas in this general history
- explain the content and specificities of these ideas
- understand their causes and  implications

Content of UE

Social-economic and political history of Europe.
Birth and development of the liberal land socialist political ideas (utopian, marxist, reformist, communist).
