Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Master specialist knowledge in the field of economic, political and social sciences in order to mobilise it on issues related to political, economic and social environments.
    • Assimilate political, economic and social environments.
  • Analyse concrete political, social and economic issues in a multidisciplinary way, identifying future societal changes.
    • Analyse a situation by critically selecting adapted methodological theories and approaches.
  • Develop innovative solutions/actions/policies/methodologies adapted to an institutional and social context of actors concerned in a process of change.
    • Monitor knowledge and methodological approaches in order to evolve their thinking and practice.
  • Implement a scientific approach in order to carry out detailed research on issues within the economic, social or political field.
    • Master the different steps and methods to carry out scientific reasoning on complex or innovative issues in economic and social politics.
  • Independently or collectively mobilise the skills acquired through training, in social and political fields.
    • Appropriately mobilise expertise taking into account the constraints and resources in the situation encountered.
  • Be critical and have a general overview of the analysis of problems and implementation of actions in the economic, social and political fields.
    • Monitor knowledge and methodological approaches in order to evolve their thinking and practice.
    • Assess their practices and be able to question it.
  • Communicate, orally and in writing, in a structured and relevant way.
    • Present (orally and in writing) a personal and adapted summary to the public concerned (to colleagues, non-specialists, sponsors or hierarchy), resulting from their own productions or not.

Learning Outcomes of UE

"Seminar of an issues of current political and social interest": At the end of the course, students will be able to master an issue of current political and social interest. "Sociology of Social action": Students will be able to cease contemporary sociological analysis of social work. They will be able to understand new logics leading the social action systems.

Content of UE

"Seminar of an issues of current political and social interest": - written research work on an issue of current political and social interest - oral presentation of the research work.   "Sociology of Social action": Various social action systems will be studied: housing systems, health action, cultural mediation, etc.
