Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of the first block of the master in interpreting, students will be able to:  - memorize a speech on a subject of general or current interest while identifying and replicating its structure, using notes if required;  - render the speech in correct and fluent French with no errors of meaning;  - deliver the speech in a convincing fashion.   

Content of UE

Consecutive interpretation of short and relatively non-specialized speeches.  Memorization, note-taking and rendering in French.  Exercises based on non-prepared speeches, freely-rendered written texts or recordings of original speeches.
