Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
- Understand language of instruction and foreign languages (language skills)
- Use French perfectly in a variety of non-technical situations, both orally and in writing
- Understand and integrate cultural similarities and differences (cultural and intercultural skills)
- Develop knowledge in various fields, in particular those aimed at by translation activities
- Use lexicographical resources and reference materials to lead linguistic mediation activities individually or as part of a team (professional skills)
- Use printed or electronic dictionaries and reference materials appropriately
- Reformulate, summarise, translate or interpret a document of general interest written or presented orally in a foreign language into French
- Conduct relevant research and report on it in a critical manner (cognitive skills)
- Conduct targeted and reasoned documentary research in both the core language and the foreign languages studied
- Assess the relevance and reliability of documentary sources used
