Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the theoretical and methodological fundamentals in psychology and educational sciences to analyse a situation involving these disciplines
    • Identify and describe the biological and socio-cultural foundations of human behaviour
  • Understand the fundamentals related to the scientific approach in psychology or educational sciences
    • Identify and describe the specific characteristics of scientific processes

Learning Outcomes of UE

Illuminate and familiarize students with sociological concepts. Initiate a sociological reflection on society and, in particular, on the issues of tradition, modernity and post-modernity.

Content of UE

Presentation of the sociological vision of tradition, modernity and post-modernity, the concept of social class and the relationships between the individual, class and society. Introduction to the sociology of Pierre Bourdieu.
