Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the theoretical and methodological fundamentals in psychology and educational sciences to analyse a situation involving these disciplines
    • Identify and describe the biological and socio-cultural foundations of human behaviour
    • Explain and give examples of human functioning, including in its atypical and pathological dimensions
    • Describe the principles of methodological approaches (objectives, methods, techniques and tools) to understand and explain the functioning of individuals, groups and organisations
  • Grow personally and professionally
    • Develop their scientific curiosity and open-mindedness
    • Understand the various means available for documentation, to promote self-learning and lifelong learning
  • Understand the fundamentals related to the scientific approach in psychology or educational sciences
    • Identify and describe the specific characteristics of scientific processes
    • Give a critique and argue a point of view as part of a scientific approach

Learning Outcomes of UE

This learning activity will provide students with the proficiency to:
- Master the fundamental biological knowledge and the ability to exploit them
- Master the learning of physiological reasoning
- Master the molecular, morphological and functional approaches of normal and pathological states
- The ability to explain the mutual relationship between molecular, morphological and functional modifications and the pathological states
- Be open to scientific research and demonstrate his scientific curiosity

Content of UE

The following themes will be approached:
- The general properties of biological systems;
- The molecular mechanisms of heredity;
- The structure of cell and the mechanisms of cell communication;
- The basic principles of animal physiology;
- The nervous system and the molecular mechanisms of learning.
