Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
Subsequent to the achievement of the fundamental skills of cell biology, the students will be able to broaden their knowledge related this fascinating universe by learning several notions of: (1) molecular mechanisms of cell communication and the signaling pathways, (2) the cytoskeleton and the cell behavior; (3) regulation of cell cycle and the programmed cell death; (4) the social context of cells and the control of cell survival and death; (5) methods of cell culture and observation of the cell structure and functions.
Content of UE
The following themes will be approached: Cell communication; Cytoskeleton; Cell cycle and the programmed cell death ; Cell junctions, cell adhesion and extracellular matrix; Stem-cell engineering; Methods of cell manipulation and observation.
