    • Self-assess and give feedback

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of the training course, students will master practical aspects of the notions learned during the courses of microbiology and toxicology. The students will have the opportunity to meet some experts of this field in their own workplace, which will allow them to evaluate concretely their professional choice for a future career development plan.

Content of UE

Basic techniques in microbiology (microorganism isolation, culture and identification, Gram staining, microscopic examination, sensitivity test, PCR), and use of different techniques (spectrometry, chromatography, ...) for the search and identification of toxic compounds (heavy metals, solvents, ...) in various human and environmental samples.

Prior Experience

Microbiology, Toxicology
