Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of this course, students will be able to use the PEB software (including the problematic of the thermal bridges)state the principles of construction of a passive building; state the PHPP software; state the mechanisms of visual perception; characterize the main parameters of light; describe the ways to seamlessly distribute the light in the built environment.master the language of lighting designers in order to be able to work by themselves or with the help of professionals on small projects for both interior and exterior lighting.

Content of UE

Air conditioning, refrigeration machine; sizing of HVAC systems; Humidifiers; passive solar shading; PEB standards; Ew index; PEB software; energy sectors; Specific energy; domestic hot water, lighting techniques, physical and physiological prerequisites; concepts of photometry and colorimetry; Description and characteristics of lighting equipments; interior, exterior and natural lighting calculation methods.
