Content of Learning Activity
Project-based learning. In the framework of the LA, students are given the assignment, in realistic conditions, to set up a SME operating at international level (must specialized in import and export of goods to/from Russian-speaking countries). The project is broken down into several stages: original idea; design of a detailed implementation plan; company shape and size; positioning of team members in various roles within the company; set up of a realistic supply chain enabling the rollout of the original idea; email and telephone exchanges with various organizations involved in the company setup (suppliers, landlords, customs, ministries, diplomatic and consular services, etc.); G2M strategy; business plan including financial aspects; paper and electronic file containing the various working stages; presentation of the finished product to a panel comprising businesspeople from various backgrounds.
