Content of Learning Activity
The lecture include the next chapters: Introduction; distribution mapping; ici-ages; causes of ice-ages; analysis methods; diversity indices and ecological niche concept; landscape fragmentation, populations, metapopulations, connectivity; r and K strategies; insularity models (Mc-Arthur & Wilson; Levins); case study of the Mediterranean biogeography.
