Content of Learning Activity
Fundamental notions : What is Physics ?; Scientific method; Application field; Units; Uncertainty assessment; Order of magnitude; Dimensional analysis; Description of motions; Newton's laws and their implications; Conservative and nonconservative forces; Work; Power; Potential energy - kinetic energy; Conservation of total energy principle ; Elastic and inelastic collisions in one dimension.
Geometric optics : Nature and propagation of light; Reflection; Refraction; Mirors; Diopters; Lenses; Homographies; Optical Aberrations; perception of colours; Characteristics and description of some optical instruments.
