Vacuum technologies; Focussed ion beam; characterization of materials at the nanoscale : local microscopies, nanoindentation, roughness and small scale mechanical testing; synthesis of nano-objets; carbon-based nanomaterials (nanotubes; graphene, ...); thin films synthesis, properties and applications; synthesis of nanostructured materials and nanocomposites, properties and applications.
