    Content of Learning Activity

    <em>Petroleum refining : refining in the current energy context, description of petroleum cuts, hydrocarbons and physico-chemical properties, objectives and characteristics of the main refining units, simplified refining process, relation between fuel specifications (for gasoline and diesel) and refining units (effect of the operating conditions)</em> <em>Petrochemical processes: steam-cracking, catalytic reforming, steam-reforming and partial oxidation, basic reaction principles and unit operations for separation, understanding of processes, effect of the operating conditions on products</em>
