Wood and timber based materials (cross laminated timber, glulam and engineered wood products). Properties, classification, manufacturing and uses; Durability od concrete and specific applications. Terracotta (bricks, tiles, expanded clay, ceramics) manufacturing, and insulating properties and uses.Glass: production, classification, uses); Comparative overview of materials as solution of a building problem: introduction to of life cycle analysis and bio-based materials.
