Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Manage large-scale software development projects.
    • Demonstrate independence and their ability to work alone or in teams.
  • Manage research, development and innovation.
    • Methodically research valid scientific information, lead a critical analysis, propose and argue potentially innovative solutions to targeted problems.
  • Develop and integrate a high degree of autonomy.
    • Aquire new knowledge independently.

Learning Outcomes of UE

After this course, the students will be able to:
Understand the basic foundations of the classical microeconomic theory presented in a quantitative way.
Acquire a wider knowledge of real markets and their evolution.

Content of UE

Consumer behaviour: static and dynamic analyses, individual and market demand, elasticities, ... Production and cost theory: short and long run, cost minimising production choices, ... Profit maximisation in competitive markets, monopoly, oligopolistic market equilibrium (classical approach).
