Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
At the end of this course, students will have a thorough anatomical understanding of the thoracic and abdominal organs and their functions and systems (cardiovascular, arterial, etc.). Students will be given a topographical vision of the different organs and vasculo-nervous structures going through this region.
Content of UE
This course gives a thorough description of the vasculo-nervous structures, myology and organs of the chest, abdomen and pelvis, as well as a detailed topography of these structures. Some basics in clinical cases affecting this region will also be discussed. Introduction to medical imaging: interactive demonstrations of medical imaging documents (illustration of the human anatomy course by different medical imaging modes, including the scanner, and presentation of anatomical sections of the thorax and abdomen).
