Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Mobilise communication skills in two languages other than French, both orally and in writing, as a presentation of an argument or piece of research in accordance with scientific ethics.
    • Understand, synthesise and discuss complex information and texts, expressed in English and at least one other language.
    • Communicate in a clear and structured manner on issues of economics and management

Learning Outcomes of UE

Developing some communicative ability necessary to face situations which call for the use of Business English as follows: asking for information by email at level A2+; understanding and taking part in conversations on simple matters; reading and understanding the overall meaning of texts at level B2; listening and understanding conversations at level B1+.

Content of UE

Revising the basic structures of the English language; Developing some communicative ability by calling upon the four language skills (listening comprehension; reading comprehension; written expression; oral expression); Reading and commenting on various texts and articles in Business English; Introduction to Business Vocabulary.

Prior Experience

Being able to cope with the basic structures and basic vocabulary of the English language is an asset.
