• Conduct targeted and reasoned documentary research in both the core language and the foreign languages studied
• Assess the relevance and reliability of documentary sources used
• Give a critique of the studied literature

Content of UE

Cf. AA : T-ITAL-305 <u>Introduction to translation (part b) : </u>Critical analysis of genuine audio-visual documents and varied texts. Basic principles and techniques of translation. Written translation of informative and pragmatic texts (from italian into french).  + T-ITAL-507 <u>Translation from French into the Foreign language (part b) </u>: Translation of texts on general subjects and exercises in comparative linguistics. Emphasis on specific problems inherent in the italian language. Critical use of documentation and language reference materials available in the target language.
