Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
Students will be able to:
- grasp the meaning of texts written in common language or related to their activities;
- understand the description of events, feelings and wishes in personal letters;
- produce simple connected texts on topics that are familiar or of personal interest;
- write personal letters that describe personal experiences and impressions.
Students will be able to:
- understand articles and reports concerned with contemporary problems in which the writers adopt particular stances or viewpoints;
- understand contemporary prose;
- write clear, detailed texts on a variety of subjects related to their fields of interest, which give information or give reasons in support of or against a particular point of view.
Content of UE
Analysis and commented reading of varied texts (content, style, length, function).
Production of texts with implementation of compensation, control and correction strategies:
- summarizing of information and arguments coming from various sources;
- development of personal arguments.
