Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
Upon completion of the language courses of the third module, students will have a good command of ............... [language] at the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. [B3-2-en] Upon completion of the language courses of the third module, students will have a good command of ............... [language] at the B2+ level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. [B3-3-en] They will be able to: - identify, place and describe significant cultural events as a native speaker would (literature, Fine Arts, political, economic and social organisation, judicial system, etc.) ; - carry out competent and accurate research on these subjects ; - report on their methodology and research. - bring out the logical structure of a general text, written in the foreign language; - render the meaning of this text in a correct French; - advisedly use dictionaries and reference documents.
Content of UE
Critical analysis of genuine audio-visual documents and varied texts. Oral and written exercises. Emphasis on interaction with native speakers and on intercultural skills (preparation for linguistic immersion). Receptive and productive activities focused on discursive skills, effective social discourse and negotiation strategies.
