Learning Outcomes of UE

As an outcome of this UE, the student will have have studied and understood an advanced research topic in the domain of software engineering.

Content of UE

This UE aims to understand an advanced research topic in software engineering, on the basis of one or more scientific articles provided by the teacher, possibly complemented by tools and available data of empirical studies. The student should carry out a critical review of the state of the art, and/or perform practical experiences to reproduce or advance this state of the art.

Prior Experience

A good knowledge of the basic software engineering concepts.

Type of Assessment for UE in Q1

Q1 UE Assessment Comments

Type of Assessment for UE in Q2

  • Presentation and works

Q2 UE Assessment Comments

The student should provide a written scientific report of his work, and should orally defend his work (supported by slides).
A single global grade will be given, taking into account the quantity and quality of the work carried out, as well as the quality of the scientific report and oral defense.

Type of Assessment for UE in Q3

  • Presentation and works

Q3 UE Assessment Comments

The student should provide a written scientific report of his work, and should orally defend his work (supported by slides).
A single global grade will be given, taking into account the quantity and quality of the work carried out, as well as the quality of the scientific report and oral defense.
