Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Collaborate and work in a team.
    • Have developed practical skills in physics through practical sessions in the laboratory and sessions during which they have worked individually and in groups.

    • Have acquired knowledge and a thorough understanding of specialist areas of physics in connection with mathematics and/or advanced laboratory practices required for these sectors.

    • Have developed practical skills in physics through practical sessions in the laboratory and sessions during which they have worked individually and in groups.
  • Grow personally and professionally.
    • present the appropriate knowledge and skills to the teaching profession in upper secondary school (for students in the teaching sector); the appropriate knowledge and skills for professions using... (for everyone).
  • Have a creative and rigorous scientific approach
    • Gather and interpret relevant scientific data and critically analyse it, distinguishing working hypotheses of proven facts.

Learning Outcomes of UE

- Grasp the role of different elments in a circuit : R, L, C, diode
- Become familiar wit a test equipement (electrical components, signal generators, multimeters and oscilloscope)
- Be able to build and study an electric circuit
- Grasp the concept of DAQ for example in graphical program language (LabView(R))  - or ARDUINO(R)
- Introduce logic circuits (basic gates, Boolean algebra and 1 bit  adder)

- circuits combining  R,L,C
- semi-conductors, diodes, transistors
- logic gates and instrumentation

- messurement using an oscilloscope
- RL, RC circuits (with PC data acquisition)
- RLC circuits
- semiconductors, diodes and transistors
- logic circuits - gates
