Learning Outcomes of UE

The general objective of this unit is to enable  the student  to solve practical problems that could occur during his/her studies and his/her professional career. The emphasis is therefore naturally put on the acquisition of this capacity to put the course into practice.

Content of UE

This  unit consists of a learning activity called probability calculus which consists of 30 hours of theory and 15 hours of exercises

Prior Experience

Type of Assessment for UE in Q1

  • Presentation and works
  • Oral examination

Q1 UE Assessment Comments

The examination consists of the solution of a practical problem.  To answer their individual question, the students have to write a report detailing the logic used to solve the question. An oral presentation will accompany the presentation of this report in the presence of the Professor and the Assistant.

Q2 UE Assessment Comments

Not applicable

Type of Assessment for UE in Q3

  • Presentation and works
  • Oral examination

Q3 UE Assessment Comments

In case of the second session, the student necessarily has to ask for another question that he will solve according to the same modalities. He/she will give an elaborate report at least one week (= 7 days) before the oral examination.
