Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Analyse a situation (individually or collectively) in reference to theories and methodological approaches within psychology.
    • Master and appropriately mobilise knowledge and methodological approaches to understand and explain the normal/atypical/pathological functioning of individuals, groups or organisations.
    • Analyse and model a situation (individually or collectively) by critically selecting theories and methodological approaches.
  • Communicate and exchange information in a structured and adapted way to the intended purpose and relevant public.
    • Present and structure data in a clear, precise, neutral, and non-oriented way.
    • Present the results of a diagnostic evaluation (orally and in writing) and inform various representatives.
  • Master scientific research methods in psychology.
    • Construct a reference framework, formulate questions or hypotheses from the analysis of scientific literature.

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of the lectures, students will be able to: 1.    Contextualize the normal and pathological development of child and adolescent in reference to the French and international diagnostic classifications 2.    Describe and understand the baby's main psychopathological disorders 3.    Describe and understand the child's main psychopathological disorders 4.    Describe and understand the adolescent's main psychopathological disorders

Content of UE

Chapter 1: Normal and pathological development: from infant to adolescent Chapter 2: Early infancy disorders(2.1. Orality disorders; 2.2. Sphincter disorders; 2.3. Sleep disorders; 2.4. Infant depression) Chapter 3: Childhood disorders (3.1. Mental retardation, high-potential, genetic syndromes; 3.2. Anxiety disorders; 3.3. Depression; 3.4. Psychotic and autistic disorders) Chapter 4: Adolescence disorders (4.1. Notion of adolescence; 4.2. Eating disorders; 4.3. Schizophrenia)
